REFLECTION | 10 Books
I have start the pronunciation part with the books, because I think that is the resource more typical for the teachers to use. It's true that not all of the coursebooks have a pronunciation part, but we can take advantage of what they offer and transform it so that students can work on pronunciating correclty some words.
For example, I would focuse on the vocabulary. While you are introducing new words you are also teaching how to pronounce them, and your students can apply the same patterns of sounds and pronunciation to other words. I really think it can be a very useful tool, because they are doing to things at the same time without knowing!
Our teacher showed us some books that work specifically the pronuntiation, for example Pronunc
iation games or Singing grammar both written by Mark Hancok. It's obvious that there are more books, but I really like them because are based on games or kind of games. Playing and signing are actions that children like (generaly), so if we focus a class on this to things I'm sure that the students will really enjoy it!
